A immersive way of gaming
Rogue game gear approached our team to rewrite the rules of a game controller. We took the opportunity to re-imagine the dream setup, incorporating tangible aspects of a cockpit experience into the digital world!
The dual joystick interface was designed as a three tier layout. The middle console being the main power block with communications and miscellaneous functions. The left and right zones were assigned as movement and weaponry controls, catering for ambidexterity.
Optimized ergonomics for prolonged usage and intuitive user experience were our key design drivers. In a market saturated with typical handheld sticks, we crafted a theme of professional equipment to provide functionalities and customizable touch points associated with automotive control decks and flight instrument panels.
